Habe gerade folgendes Gesuch in meinen news gesehen und möchte es an WRFler, die das Abenteuer ihres Lebens suchen, weiterleiten:
www.oceansWatch.org is an international not-for-profit organisation that works with sailors, divers and scientists worldwide to help coastal communities conserve their marine environments, develop sustainable livelihoods and access primary education.OceansWatch is looking for 1 experienced crew to help us take our Wharram 38 Cat Knapp from New Zealand to Vanuatu.
The boat is prepared to NZ Category 1 Offshore standards and skippered by Chris Bone (100,000nm). Cat Knapp has done several Ocean passages and sailed to NZ from the USA. Departure from NZ in about 10 days.
We are also interested in hearing from anyone keen to volunteering as a Mate/Diver for the entire expedition.
This is a fascinating opportunity for anyone interested in adventure who has a serious commitment to marine conservation and helping others.
We shall be away 5 months in Vanuatu, the Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea, ending our trip in November in Brisbane, Australia.
The trip is NOT a holiday, it’s hard work but may be the most rewarding work you will ever have done!
This is a share expenses, voluntary position. Please contact chris@oceanswatch.org (with C.V.) for further information.
Liebe Grüße:)
