Re. Visas issued from the "Kingdom of Hawaii" INVALID FOR TRAVEL
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Immigration Division (MFAID) has received information that Tongan nationals have spent monies for a visa issued by what has become known as the "Hawaiiian Kingdom".
A copy of the visa is attached.
MFAID wishes to advise and warn persons who wish to travel to Hawaii or the U.S. that visas issued by the "Kingdom of Hawaii" ARE INVALID FOR TRAVEL and CANNOT BE USED to travel to, or to temporarily remain in the State of Hawaii, or the U.S.
Monies collected by the Kingdom of Hawaii for the issue of these visas may be part of a fraudulent scheme. The public are further warned that individuals that attempt to enter the U.S. using a "Kingdom of Hawaii" visa may not be allowed to board an aircraft from Tonga or from any other country, or they may be returned to Tonga or their country of residence, by U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
Persons that attempt illegal entry into the U.S. may face legal action against them. Tongans residing in Tonga may ONLY be issued a visa for travel to the State of Hawaii or the U.S., from the U.S. Embassy in Suva Fiji.
